I have a 3 sentence story to share with you that is way far more effective than preaching and commanding your distributors to follow your advice. After all, facts tell, stories sell, right?

Everyone likes a story and this 3 sentence story will prevent you from getting frustrated and impress upon your team that duplication is key in building the business.

So, don’t get frustrated with your distributors. Don’t preach to them or command they follow your advice. Simply tell them this 3 sentence story:
 “Imagine you wanted to walk through a minefield. Would you want to go first? Or, would you rather have a leader who knows the way, to go first, and you simply follow carefully in his footsteps?”
 
See how simple that is. It’s polite and non-confrontational!

  1. While following a proven path is awesome, it is their path with their level results. The lonely path may lead to failure, but I am open to failure – I find it to be the best teacher. So I tend to blend a bit of tried and true, with adventurous exploration.

    After all, it IS possible to exceed my upline. That is what I love about this profession. Their results are THEIR results. I get to create my own, and I am responsible for my own. I can follow their path and have similar results to theirs, or I can learn from them, and edit and tweak as I go. I am a rebel at heart. It is why this industry appealed to me over a J-O-B. I was just not cut out to follow directions that well, and MLM allows me the OPTION of following a strategic, proven path, or failing my way forward.

    That CHOICE is what I call FREEDOM!
